Hundested

Hundested

Hundested is a coastal town north of Copenhaguen. Its harbour has been its main activity all throughout its history. Today, the harbour appears disconnected from the town by an urban void empty of activity and spatial significance.

The project focus on bridging the two sides introducing new programs and enhancing existing paths. The plan is to knot together the harbour and city, altering the patterns of movement and creating new common spaces.

One of the proposed infrastructures is a sport complex stretching across the existing green void. The proposal fills this space with programs, creating a linear park and connecting both the town to the harbour through a programatic and spatial invervention.
