Grillé Saint Anne

Grillé Saint-Anne

The Grillé Saint-Anne situated in a corner room creates at the same time a small place, reinterpreting elements related to the collective imagination of the kitchen. By putting them in dialogue with the street space, the project engages the street. The azulejos that hold the kitchen and the walls come into contact with an aluminum floor and a dark counter.

The kitchen is transformed by its aesthetics into a common place, a room where all the codes of the grillé «Kebab» in French are grouped - metal objects, kitchen artillery. The counter is projected outside in a simple line, at the same time counter and linear cooking line, to fetch the public space, weave a link with the outside, thus caring for the family and welcoming image of a qualitative street food.

At the end of the counter a piece of furniture, an industrial object, a large open fridge with a dark interior is thus transformed into a large traditional fireplace, gathering place and sharing. The large windows frame a well-adjusted interior, sober and animated by the simple use of contrasting materials. The open kitchen, is offered to the eyes of the passerby as an invitation to share a gastronomic and social experience.

Gastronomy for all is our commitment

This is the essence of Grillé, a new fast food concept in Paris, developed by the owners of Le Dauphin in association with a well known french butcher.

Their fresh new approach on a classic Turkish durum dish, meant the interior design required would follow the same innovative path. Unity in diversity, this was the challenge that Clément Blanchet Architecture had to take up in envisioning the spaces and the architectural approach that would serve this business. Each with its own individuality and character, situated in different areas of the city, appealing to a different set of customers, yet still united by the same quality of their products.
