Campus HEC

Campus HEC

The review of the campus current operations, heritage and future is part of an ambitious initiative launched by HEC. It aims to transform its campus and bring it into line with a forward-looking vision of its mission and identity.

The various analysis have enabled us to build up a solid knowledge of the site's present, built and landscaped heritage, its characteristics and how it functions. The development of the guide plan required considerable introspection on the part of HEC to determine where the campus needed to go.

A strong attachment to the qualities of the existing site, both built and unbuilt combined with great ambition for the future. The future campus is not just the renovation of the old one, but a new stage in its development - ecological, optimistic and visionary. It's a reunification of different existing urban fabrics, integrating the architecture created by architect René-André Coulon.

The guide plan synthesizes a proposal at the crossroads of the needs and visions. It captures the state of development of the ideas that are at the heart of HEC's preoccupations, and puts forward proposals and prescriptions that will give initial impetus and direction to the project. The scope for interpretation is wide, but the objectives are clear: to work towards a living campus, anchored in its site and its history, capable of proposing a vision of what a 21st century campus should be.
