Clement Blanchet in the news - Libération
As part of the ‘De villes en vies’ event, organised by the Quartus Endowment Fund for Architecture, read Clément Blanchet's article ‘Un pont, un lien, un nouvel horizon’ in Libération.
We are delighted to see the Simone Veil bridge project highlighted by Libération in an article by Clément Blanchet, which explores the power of the bridge not as an architectural gesture, but as a social and territorial action.
Through this infrastructure, our ambition is to rethink the role of the bridge - no longer just as a means of crossing, but as a place in its own right, a space for living, meeting and opening up to the landscape.
"The simplicity of its design, its generous space, and its capacity to host a wide range of activities have proved that discreet architecture can give expression to a wide range of uses. By celebrating the ordinary, this project praises functional simplicity. This crossing has become the new symbol of the metropolis of tomorrow: a metropolis that creates places for everyone, capable of evolving with the times, designed to last without becoming obsolete. An invitation to cross, live and reinvent" Clement Blanchet
Thanks to Liberation for this insight and to all those involved in this shared vision.
