ABOUT CLEMENT BLANCHET ARCHITECTURE

Clément Blanchet Architecture (CBA) is an international architecture and urban design practice which brings together multidisciplinary and multicultural actors to work on architecture and the city. CBA was founded with a mission to rethink architecture and urbanism; to derive new meaning for architecture in the city as a durable and hybrid urban project. In the work of this practice, beauty is derived from clear, coherent solutions, informed by diverse points of view.

CBA is structured as a laboratory—its process begins from a place of not-knowing, removing assumptions and gathering both objective and subjective data to inform unexpected proposals.

CBA positions itself at the center of a network of specialists in the field, and coordinates synthesis: between the perspectives of experts and stakeholders, combining innovation and durability, and negotiating the physical and ephemeral factors which both constrain and define architecture.

CBA works to deliver robust projects across multiple scales and typologies. From designing interiors and public cultural facilities to specialized approaches in the areas of education, housing, infrastructure, landscape, and urbanism, CBA operates in close dialogue with collaborators to challenge the status quo for their clients, the cities, urban environments, and the communities they serve.
